From now until Christmas day,, I will be posting a list of twenty-five tips and ideas that will help you get through the holiday season. On Christmas day I will have offered you over six hundred ideas that you can enjoy alone or with family and friends.

Who doesn’t love desserts? And around the holiday season there are so many varieties and options. It’s no wonder we all seem to gain so much weight around this time of year. I don’t bake much around the holidays but one year I made a red velvet cake and an Italian creme cheese cake (I think that was the name of it) for Thanksgiving. By the time my family is done eating we don’t have much room left for dessert so my mother just buys two pies and leave them on the table for anyone who’s interested and that’s usually good enough for us.

I worked on compiling some of the best desserts for you to try this Christmas. I didn’t even know some of these desserts were a thing like Candy Cane Cake, Cranberry Upside Down Cake or Gingerbread eggnog. I can’t imagine you will get through all twenty-five lol but at least the option is there :). If baking is your thing, maybe you can give some of these away as gifts. Did any of your favorites make the list?

It may be a little hard to read but here is the PRINTABLE in PDF format.

I have a long history with mental illness. Overcoming depression made me realize my own resilience. It also made it clear that I wasn’t taking care of myself. I believe that in order for us to fully engage with ourselves and others we have to make time for self-love through our self-care habits. My goal with this blog is to encourage women in my age group to make time for self-care daily.
